Staying cool on hot summer nights
During the extreme heat of an Australian summer your ability to fall asleep, stay asleep and wake feeling refreshed can be affected.
We all know that feeling of days of relentless heat and restless sweaty nights trying to sleep.
Having a fan or air-conditioning on all night can be very dehydrating for your skin. To counter act this make sure you use a good quality night cream and Mulberry Silk pillowcase which will not absorb the night cream off your face.
If you don’t have air conditioning Mulberry Silk is moisture wicking and cooling to sleep on and can help with hot flushes.
Whilst we don’t like to think about it, we all sweat at night and on a hot summer night you can sweat over two cups of water each night!
Mulberry Silk is more breathable and moisture wicking then cotton, bamboo or polyester bedding. It can wick moisture away quickly and reduce the humidity in your bed and leave you dry, which in turn discourages micro bacterial growth which can cause skin issues.
This summer try sleeping on a Mulberry Silk pillowcase (www.mulberrysilk.com.au) and wake with frizz free hair, hydrated skin and hopefully a restful night sleep.
